11th Month Inspection

At the 11th month of ownership of a new home the home builder is still responsible for most defects that occur in the first year. However, did the builder call to remind you that your home warranty was about to expire? Most don’t provide this courtesy reminder. Supreme Home Inspections FL offers this service for new homeowners who are living in a newly-constructed home. While many home problems may now be concealed, it’s not too late for defects to be caught by a well-trained home inspector. Although most major construction flaws go unnoticed for 3-5 years and by that time trying to correct these flaws could cost you thousands of dollars, the home builder is no longer responsible. It’s unfortunate that most of these flaws go unnoticed until it is too late and extensive damage has occurred.

So be proactive. Schedule your 11th Month Inspection and give yourself some time before the builder’s warranty expires. Your non-invasive inspection is based on observations of the visible and clear condition of the interior and exterior of the building. This includes all major systems and components.

After your 11 Month Inspection, you will receive:
– a summary report
– all of the photos taken
– all information on any material defects observed on the date of the inspection

Armed with this information you can hold your builder and the subcontractors accountable, if necessary. Enforce their warranties while they’re still in effect.
